Australia’s largest taxi company is set to host the inaugural industry wide Professional Driver Expo. Taking place in Sydney on Wednesday 19 May, the free event will bring together current Drivers, Operators and those interested in joining the industry to learn all about the personal transport business, and the opportunities and career options it provides. As for the big highlight – everyone that comes on the day will get a chance to win a free six month taxi lease on a 2020 Toyota Prius! What would you look like behind the wheel?
“This event is a pioneer Expo for the entire Sydney Personal Transport industry,” said Chief Operating Officer, Stuart Overell “We want to bring everyone together and showcase the support and opportunities available to current and future Professional Drivers and Operators within the sector. We hope it will be an informative event and enable the community of Drivers from different taxi and ride share companies to meet, network, and learn from each other. For anyone who may be contemplating a career as a Driver it will give a good insight too. All potential new recruits will be welcome!”
Head of Engagement, Ms Barry added that everyone at 13cabs is delighted to have a number of great partners joining them in delivering the Professional Driver Expo event. “We have some fantastic high profile partners on board such as as 7/11, Westpac, Toyota, Spotto and more. With their own booths, they will be on hand to answer any of your questions, provide information and giveaways.”
As well as being informative, the day is set to be high energy and lots of fun too. “There will be plenty of activities, including Nova’s Casanova team coming and playing some great tunes, car sales, goodies, raffles and handouts. Not to mention food trucks and a free coffee and lunch!” Ms Barry said.
The big draw card on the day will of course be the very exciting opportunity to win a free six month lease on a taxi. “The main raffle prize is a six month lease on a fully operational taxi – a 2020 Toyota Prius! A very enviable prize,” said Ms Barry.
