How many passengers can an SUV take?

Usually 4 with plenty of room, but there are 7-seat models in the 13cabs fleet that can take up to 6 passengers. If you need one, just ask when you book.

Do I have to pay extra for an SUV?

No. 13cabs will get you there for the same price, no matter what sort of vehicle you need.

Will the driver help with my luggage?

Your driver will be happy to help. They’re all trained in how to handle luggage safely and help with any mobility issues you might have.

What is the best way to book a taxi?

A reliable service is about more than just having a cab turn up on time. The way you book a taxi should be convenient, and flexible. That’s why booking any of our cabs is easy. You can book a few different ways, up to 7 days in advance via:

How do you book and pay for a taxi through the app?

Booking a taxi has never been easier, thanks to the 13cabs app. Whether you’re using it for the first time or the 50th time, the app can save you time. The 13cabs app works with both Android and iPhone phones, and you can download it from wherever you usually get your apps. To book a cab, all you need to do is:

Open the app
Enter the pick-up address
Move the location pin if needed
Type in the destination
Choose the taxi service you want
Click on your preferred payment method
Add notes for the driver if you wish
Tap Schedule or I’m Ready Now

Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive a Fixed Price, and you’ll be able to see the details of the allocated accredited driver. You will also be able to see in real time how far away they are. You can even add your favourite driver, and we’ll do our best to give them to you if they’re available.

How do you calculate the cost per km of a taxi?

The great news is, there’s no need to do that anymore. Estimating the cost of a ride is something we’ll do for you, with our fare estimator. There’s no need to worry about trying to do the equations in your head to ensure you have enough money. In fact, not only will we give you a fare estimate, but in a lot of places in Australia we’ll give you a Fixed Price when you book with our app. Our Fixed Price means the price you’re quoted will be the price you pay. It’s not available in all the places we service, yet, but it is available in a lot, including:

What different sizes and styles of taxis are available?

With more than 10,000 vehicles on the road, 13cabs is Australia’s largest taxi fleet. That means when you’re booking your next ride, you’ll have a range of services to choose from as well as regular taxi cabs. You can also choose a:

MAXI TAXI. Going out with friends or family? Cab it together. Great if you’re a family with a lot of luggage, too.
Wheelchair accessible taxis. If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter to get around, this cab is the right choice. They are either MAXI TAXIs or SUVs.

Can you pre-book a taxi for a major event?

Yep. You can book up to 7 days ahead, either online, with our app, or over the phone. Not only is it good to use our app to book ahead for an event and get the Fixed Price, but using it afterwards is great as well. By using the location pin, you can book a taxi, not have to stand in a queue at the taxi rank, and we’ll be able to find exactly where you are.
