Drivers must submit a valid full Driver’s license.
All 13cabs Drivers undergo background and police checks. They are trained to understand how to use our security and safety features and how to handle difficult situations. In some states, we even add extra requirements, such as a Working with Children check.
We undertake continuous driving history checks.
Poor behaviour is not tolerated in our cabs. Drivers identified as having poor behaviour are required to complete compulsory remedial training before being assessed for suitability to drive for 13cabs again.

We undertake mandatory vehicle inspections every four months. This means every car in our fleet undergoes three times more safety checks than a rideshare vehicle.
Inspections include 50 individual checkpoints covering the exterior, interior and mechanical aspects; from current roadworthy, functioning seatbelts GPS devices, cameras and alarm systems through to vehicle cleanliness and documented vehicle photographs.
All 13cabs Drivers and Operators are required to have the appropriate level of insurance.
Every 13cabs vehicle carries our distinctive bold orange branding, guaranteeing high visibility from the road. This reduces your risk of getting in the wrong car or being picked up by an unofficial vehicle.
Whenever you ride in a 13cabs taxi, you can always see your Driver’s photo ID, which lists a name and cab number. That guarantees you’re riding with a qualified, police checked professional. And when you book with us and provide a mobile number, we’ll SMS your Driver’s details to you on approach.
