Australia’s largest taxi network 13cabs has arrived in Darwin to deliver a better resourced and wider-reaching taxi service for the community.
13cabs has begun introducing its distinctively branded fleet to provide Passengers with a better alternative in the region.
13cabs General Manager, Greg Hardeman said “Darwin has experienced strong growth and the need for better transport options is well and truly here. We’re excited to be partnering with local drivers because it means we’ll be able to better service the community from Darwin to Palmerston and beyond.”
“The 13cabs booking app has just been activated for Darwin and we’ve already had significant downloads” says Hardeman
Stuart Park local and 13cabs driver, Shane Daly said “By tapping into the incredible resources of a national company, I’m proud to be a part of a workforce of local drivers who know the town like the back of our hand. It’s a win-win for the community and the economy here in Darwin”
Alongside a professional cab service, 13cabs also brings a contactless delivery service to the region for food, parcels and medical supplies through the launch of 13cabs delivers. 13cabs delivers enables local businesses to get their items instantly delivered and provide a service for the community.
“We’re proud to provide locals access to Australia’s most recognised taxi brand and, in turn, our world-class technology and safety systems” Mr Hardeman said.
13cabs vehicles also undergo a cab sanitisation process, so that you can be assured that your cab is clean, which is vital during this challenging time and as people are starting to head out to bars, restaurants and cafes again.
People can book 13cabs by using the 13cabs app or phoning 13 2227.
With the introduction of 13cabs in Darwin, we also aim to provide job opportunities for people wishing to drive taxis. They can register their interest by emailing join@13cabs.com.au or calling 1800 546 687
