Carols by Candlelight may be going online this year, but 13cabs will be out on the road taking the Christmas Carol cheer to the streets of Townsville. Over the Christmas period our 13cabs will be turning into mobile Christmas Carol booths ready to take you on a tour of the sparkling Christmas lights that Tinsel Townsville has switched on this year. So, grab your friends and family, belt out your favourite festive tunes in the cab Carpool Karaoke style, and soak up the roving Christmas spirit.
“It’s been a difficult year for everyone on many different levels,” says Naomi Theodossio, Business Development Manager at 13cabs Townsville. “We thought Carols by 13cabs would be a wonderful way to encourage friends and families to spend time together, have some well needed fun and at the same time take in the magic of Christmas. By driving around our wonderful city, people too can reflect on the year and feel proud to be a part of our Townsville community.”
With the ease of door-to-door entertainment, whether it’s a sing-along girls’ night out with your favourite bar or restaurant as the last stop, a trip out with elderly parents or grandparents, or an exciting Christmas adventure with the children, the accessibility of Carols by 13cabs makes it an option for all ages.

On your Carols by 13cabs journey, our cab drivers will play a line-up of favourite Aussie classic carols that you won’t be able to help but sing along to whilst checking out the illuminated scenery. As well as creating unique memories, in the true spirit of Christmas, over the festive season, 13cabs will be giving back to the community.
“For each Carols by 13cabs trip booked in Townsville, 13cabs will be giving $5 to the charity Ronald McDonald House.
Our Carols by 13cabs Christmas lights tours can be booked and will be charged at a set rate so there aren’t any unexpected surprises on the night.
