This week, there’s a chance to win $100!
Wednesday, June 26th, and welcome to another episode of Taxi Radio with Pat & George. This week you have the chance at winning $100 cash but you’ll have to be quick on the email info@taxiradio.com.au and listen to find out how you can win.
Marcos Bellet is the Senior UX Designer with 13 cabs, and this week we have invited Marcos onto the program to give the latest on the I.V.T roll out (In Vehicle Technology). Marcos explains how he understands the needs of the users (drivers and passengers) and why IVT is a top priority for drivers. Also, Sarah Maree returns with the What’s On guide and finds out who loves his heated steering wheel.
Here is a summary of what we have covered so far:
In Episode 8, we spoke with Sharad Nair on what makes a good driver. Sharad represents over 12,000 taxi drivers. Sharad also goes on to explain how he connects with drivers and how he uses the information and feedback to improve the lives of professional drivers around the nation. Sarah Maree is back with the ‘what’s on’ guide and more.
In Episode 7, we interview Greg Hardemen, who explains why the Tiger Taxi model is a great way to join the industry.
In Episode 6, we interview Arthur Galan, designer of the new 13-cab uniform.
In Epsiode 5, we interview legal expert Howard Edelman about identifying and shutting down third-party cheats, protecting the 13 Cabs and Silver Service brands and our drivers.
In Episode 4, we interview Haris Ryan, who cofounded Meals with Impact with Community Development Specialist Nikki Blanch. Together, they witnessed firsthand the limitations of Victoria’s food relief system in providing culturally appropriate food during the pandemic.
In episode 3, Gary Becus discusses all things IVT (in vehicle technology) and what the new technology means for drivers. IVT is one of the biggest technology projects deployed in the taxi industry in response to Telstra decommissioning 3G networks.
In episode 2, our feature interview is with the amazing Chris Edwards, director of government relations and advocacy at Vision Australia. Chris plays an active role in educating taxi drivers about access laws to ensure all passengers who travel with an accredited assistance animal are welcomed and are not refused a trip.
In episode 1, we interview Olivia Barry, the chief operating officer at 13 Cabs and Silver Service. She’s an inspiration to many with her courage and ability to get things done.
